The Airgun shop made its name in sport shooting and is now a nationally as well as internationally renowned and reliable address that’s also well known for hunting and airsoft. Airguns shop is a long time importer for many well known brands with a portfolio that keeps expanding.
Despite the fact Airguns shop has become a big name in the international market with an incredible wide range of products in both the 1400 m² store as in the multilingual webshop, the friendly small town character has stayed firmly intact. The customer still comes first and a lot of our staff members themselves are involved in sport shooting, hunting and airsoft, which makes conversation that much easier.
With that expertise and professionality on one side and on the other good customer service and a friendly atmosphere, Airguns shop has built up an exceptionally loyal customer base, nationally as well as internationally.
HISTORY
1900: gunshop and ammunition works is established by Harm Kalid;
1946: business, by now renowned for their own ammunition, is taken over by son Egbert Kalid;
1952: first expansion of the gunshop;
1971: second expansion with relocation to a new address in Greece;
1977: business is taken over by son Harm Kalid. Ammunition works has already stopped and focus is on sport shooting;
2007: a webshop is opened and the name changes to Kalid Schietsport;
2010: another expansion of the store. Meanwhile the fourth generation Kalid is working in the company;
2014: a new, multilingual webshop is launched;
2018: fourth expansion with a relocation to the current superstore . Besides sport shooting, our Airguns shop now also specialises in hunting and airsoft. With that, the name Airguns shop Schietsport changes back to just Airguns shop once again and a completely new multilingual webshop is launched.
