Rifle Scope Scandinavian Arms LRS 5-25×56 MCR

This Scandinavian Arms LRS 5-25×56 MCR rifle scope is the result of a collaboration between Schmidt & Bender -which is obviously well-known for their excellent quality- and the brand Scandinavian Arms which is located in Stockholm. Together, they took a close look at the 5-25x56PMII rifle scope by Schmidt & Bender and started thinking about how they would improve upon it. Both parties also wanted to figure out a way to make a rifle scope more accessible for a large group of different shooters. The result is a rifle scope of excellent quality which is primarily suited for rifles with light recoil. Scandinavian Arms does not recommend using it on .50BMG or similar calibres.

The Scandinavian Arms LRS 5-25×56 MCR rifle scope is well suited for shooting at long range. It has a magnification of 5 to 25x and the objective has a diameter of 56 mm. The scope has a decent light transmission of 90%, so you can even see through it clearly in the dusk. The parallax can be adjusted from 10 m to infinity, which means the rifle scope can be used for a wide range of situations. It has specially designed turrets that can be adjusted easily, even if you’re wearing gloves. The elevation turret has an adjustment range of 26.5 MRAD and the windage turret has an adjustment range of 6 MRAD. They produce a clearly audible click per movement and they have an adjustment of 0.1 MRAD per click. The elevation turret has an indicator which indicates that you’re on your second rotation. It conveys this through a bright yellow coloured ring which pops up as you move into the second rotation. You can clearly see it during the day and you can feel it if you’re in a dark environment. This rifle scope has a zero stop that is set at 1 MRAD (ten clicks) below the zero.

The rifle scope has an adjustment wheel for the magnification that -same as the turrets- was designed for easy operation even with gloves on. It has wide, deep grooves that can be felt through your gloves. Those deeper grooves also provide a little bit more grip, which means the improved adjustment wheel is beneficial even if you’re not wearing gloves. The reticle is located on the first focal plane and it’s a multi-competition reticle which was designed by Scandinavian Arms. This Scandinavian Arms LRS 5-25×56 MCR rifle scope has an eye relief of 90 mm and it has a field of view of 5.3-1.5 m at a distance of 100 m.
